Looks like I have a small outbreak of Lettuce Algae. Other than manual removal, are there any critters that eat this? I have a Reefer 170 so the tank is too small for a Tang or Rabbit fish..

i dont have tangs in my DT (yet) but i added a one spot foxface since nothing in my CUC would eat the sea lettuce and the foxface took care of it in a few days time

I am not sure people are reading your post but he said his tank is to small for a rabbit or tang..

You could just control nutrients or a urchin might work.

Personally I like some macro algae in my tanks. It can look natural..

guilty, i overlooked that part.

i did notice after my foxface took the sea lettuce down to fuzz i newly introduced turbo snailed ate the rest, i didnt have a turbo before so it may have eaten everything instead of the foxface

I have done it before too.. Read the first part and not the rest.

A little tuxedo urchin in my nano eats quite a bit of it. Also, I think tuxedo urchins are cool. I also had lettuce nudis in there. The urchin ate way more ulva than the nudis did. That said, there's still ulva in the nano. What size is the display on that system? By my experience, you would probably need 3-4 tuxedo urchins to clean out a 20 gallon that has nearly all surfaces covered by ulva.
