I searched previous posts and couldn’t find the answer. I will be getting a redsea 350 on monday and still have a bunch of stuff to set up before I add water. Would i need to add a leveling mat?

I’m not familiar with that tank, but in general I like the extra safety ‘cushion’ (pun!) a leveling mat provides. BRS sells the Innovative Marine mat In various sizes; easy to cut with a straight-edge and box cutter if need be. Very nice— kind of like a wetsuit material, but thinner.

I definitely wouldn’t put anything between the stand and the floor. It will become a water trap if a spill happens. You can use wood shims to level the stand. Some people use a foam board between the tank and the stand.
