So I am trying to level my Deep Blue 57 gallon Edge on my home built stand. I have leveled the stand to the floor and when I set the tank on top of the stand I have a small gap under opposite corners of the tank. I took the tank off of the stand and took level of the piece of plywood the tank sits on. It has imperfections and I dont have a planer to get it completely flat. Is it ok if I get a piece of foam to go under the tank? If so what type and size? The top of the tank is rimless, the bottom of the tank has a black rim.

That's normal. You can put a piece of foam poster board under the whole tank and it should help.

Thanks. Went and got some 1/2" insulation board from Home Depot and it did work some but I might do a little sanding as well, just for peace of mind.

That's pretty thick, if that doesn't take up the issues completely you've gotta level those high spots some more.
