Leveling Question

Not trying to hijack the thread but I have a similar question regarding shims (the composite ones) on these feet? Will this be ok or to much pressure on the shim? My carpet is jacked and yes they are leveling feet but I didn't have enough thread.

If your floor is that uneven that there is not enough thread in the leveling feet to make it even, you may want to put the tank in a different location. I would not put a shim under the feet, but lets see what others think...

It's sitting in the ruts that the cadlight made to the carpet. I don't want to move it cause its a perfect spot I like. Plus its next to my desk so I can look at it while on my computer.

I used these same shims on my cadlight tank, but that didnt have feet. My other thought was removing all the feet and shims it?

I haven’t had issues yet I check the shins quite often because I’m still nervous. But nothing looks deformed or out of the ordinary. Been full for months. Good luck !

So you have similar setup to mine? with the composite shims and leveling feet?

Just want to link this cause it might help you out

Makes it really easy to "jack" up your tank to get shims under there even when its full. Hope it helps.
