Hi all currently fighting dinos in my tank I done a test today and results below

Ammonia 0
Calcium 420
Alkalinity 10
Ph 8.0
Phosphate 4
Nitrite 0
Nitrates showing 50 on salifert chart

Water change day is tomorrow I do believe this is due to the tank be neglected for a few moths while I was moving home any suggestions will be much appreciated

With looking online I do belive it's dinos I wait use a very fine filter sock in the sump and collect as much of them as i can in.the sock but it just comes back way faster covering all rocks whats the best to remove please

Attached some more photos
OK, that looks like you might have some dinos mixed in (still would be nice to confirm with a microscope), but I'd say the same for lowering nitrate and phosphate, just don't drop level too fast or too low. I'm actually dealing with similar and it seems to be getting better as my levels get closer to the 10 nitrate/.1-.03 phosphate range. I'm not there yet, but it does appear to be getting better for me as I approach the target levels

Yeah I posted my levels I think this was all stemmed from me leaving the tank just topping up the ato and feeding as since then its been a pain and really unsightly

Updated test results after running phosgaurd in the sump can I now remove and continue with uv

Temp 27.4
Phosphate 1.0
Ph 8.2
Nitrate 50 salifert
Nitrite 0
Ammonia 0
