LFS around New Orleans?

Hi Folks,
I'd like to go check out some LFS in the New Orleans area. I'd like to know if there are any that people would recommend. I'd like to go to some that have some zoas, maybe some used equipment.

Any of them that you know of carry ESV 4 part Salt?

You can check out Coral Connection, Aquatic Specialties, Rick's Reef. Also, you should join the Louisiana Reef Club (LARC) and check out what a lot of the members are selling. You will find some pretty good deals there.

Rick's Reef (you may want to call for his hours. I don't think he keeps up the website. He has a good selection of corals and fish. Just be prepared he is very passionate about the hobby and can be a little rough at times)

Great advice from Kveille (especially on Rick, don't let it scare you just be prepared for someone who is quite passionate). Also 2nd the suggestion to join up at LARC and see what the members have to offer. A lot of great deals around our little neck of the woods!

I actually work out of New Orleans. But I get there about 7pm and leave the area to head home about 7:30/ 8pm. Most places are closed by then so I haven't even checked on any shops. I have to take a class on the 12th and 13th. I'll have some time after the class. I think it's over about 3.

Also looking for good stores in Louisianna, I live in Hattiesburg. Rick's and Aquatic Connection are very nice, we have nothing close to them here in the Burg. Railrider have you ever been to world wide corals?

No I haven't. Isn't WWC somewhere around Orlando? I'm up in the panhandle, around Destin. If you make it out this way one day, check out Matt's Coral Connection in Ft Walton. Nice guy.

Of the three suggested, does any of them have a decent selection of used stuff? I'll be trying to check them out on mon, tues or (more likely) wed.

One other store 15 miles out of New Orleans is Paradise Pets in Laplace. They have pretty good stock on Thursday's. All of his new stock comes in late Wednesday.
