Lfs guy said my levels suck been using nutri pre mixed

My last tank I used to mix my own water now I downgraded due to moving using this pre mixed I guess crap bc here are my levels 7.6 ph ammonia 0 nitrite 0 nitrate 10 alk 8.0 cal 490 mag 1600 salt 1.027! He sounded scared should I be worried? Lol I have corals that are fine 3 hammers a monti bta with clownfish hosting and a torch coral that’s brand new but thriving 36 gallon tank Nero 5 wave maker marine land filter that I hate and a 20 gallon uv sterilizer

I wouldn't be worried. The main thing that jumps out for me is how low your PH is. I would try to get it up to 8.1-8.2, but, don't do it quickly. I would try to raise it over several days. What is your P04 at?

I'm not seeing anything too shocking other then low PH.

Mag is a little high, but not of any real concern. Salinity is a tad high, but again nothing too alarming.

My phosphate are sadly at 0 because I took their advice and added phos guard bc they said it would help with algae now my phosphates are at 0 I took it out today

The guy made it seem like I was screwed …he tried making me buy. Buffer but I hear horror stories with that

7.6PH is on the very low side, but nothing is going to die because of it.

All buffer increase alkalinity, and your already at 10. Do not put that crap in your tank.

Like we all said, nothing to shocking. But work on the PH.

Point your powerheads toward the surface for more surface agitation. Do you have a sump and skimmer?

No sump or skimmer plenty of surface agitation

That is the sad thing, people trying to get you to buy something else...UGH!!! Since you seem to be mainly focused on LPS, I would try to raise the P04 slowly to .08-.10. LPS like a little dirtier water. Remember, nothing is this hobby is done overnight. You can raise nutrients over a several day period, and it is probably better to do so to keep your frags from being shocked.

I use NeoPhos to raise my P04.

It killed my phosphate in just a few days ty for response

For premixed water. .
It seams off to have high salinity .
Typically premixed is on the lower side

best solution : buy a rodi system and a bucket of salt
This is the only way to guarantee parameters are what you want

Agree I did that last time but I just thought this stuff was good it does have great reviews but everything seems off so
