So, I figured I would ask the pros this question. My Lps is getting a new supply if fish tomorrow, should I wait to buy or go in tomorrow and grab what I want? My reasoning being, the fish went through a lot from the ocean - wholeseller etc. should I wait a week to see if it's a good batch? They seem to quickly sell out of the royal gammas and I really don't want to wait for the next batch. I need some advice please...

I have a 30gal with 2clowns and a blenny. I would like to purchase a royal gamma and a cardinalgish. Pretty basic stuff, nothing to expensive or hard to keep.

Its always good to wait a bit, you can find out a lot about a fish from just watching for a few days.

I agree that it's good to watch a fish for a bit, however this is really dependent on the quality of your LFS. Some fish systems in some stores are pretty bad and getting a fish early may be better. You can control your qt much morE closely than a store. Also some stores keep their salinity very low to keep parasites/diseases at bay, which make for a very hard time when acclimating fish.
