I should have listened to my instincts when I said to the sales person that the coral I was eyeing is an SPS, and asked him that it is right? He said no, that's an LPS - it definitely didn't look like an LPS to me, but perhaps it was retracted as the flow came on. Anyhow, it's a Psammocora (Pumpkin Patch) that I picked up.
My tank is all LPS and some mushrooms and zoas - I don't know where I can place this and I'm assuming it's going to encrust the rock if I place it at a high point in the rockwork, and it might trickle down to the mushrooms, or touch my Frogspawn/Hammers.
It wasn't my intention to get corals that will sting one another...I mean, my LPS are far far away from my soft corals, so I know I"m okay there.
Any suggestions what I can do?

My challenge is where to place this coral...I didn't want SPS corals yet, as if I did I would want a separate tank for that type of coral....
