I bought an anemone at my favorite LFS and I saw they had bubble tip on sale for $40, The associate who helped me helped choose one.

The problem is, this was a gift to my mother who's tank is fairly large and established. I just started saltwater myself (just started softies in my evo) and didn't realize the store sold me a long tentacle anemone and not a BTA. By the time I got home the fish store was closed and my mom had a look of horror when she opened the bag. They don't have a return policy and my mother doesn't want a LTA

She told me to just acclimate it
and call the store tomorrow
my biggest worry is the anemone attaches and It gets killed in the process.
Any tips/advice would be nice.

I would create and anemone box with a hole punch (or woodburner, hot glue gun, etc) and a Tupperware container. Attach it via clothespins of binder clips to the tank. This way you can acclimate it and if the store won’t take it back, you can sell it

hi,put in acclimation box ,or plastic container w holes in,to allow plenty of flow ,take back in morn. not your fault.. ;) theirs ..

i ask because many bta's can have very long thing tentacles at times
Just turned the light on for a quick pic. Was acclimated an hour ago

can you get white light pic?

Hope the bubble tips don’t look like that. That LTA is very bleached, make sure the bubble tip you’re getting isn’t white
