I thought it was fine sand grains in my refugium but I noticed them moving. They look round and seem to walk on hair algae. What are they?

The copepods I'm use to seeing would twitch and jitter, these guys don't do that. There are tons of isopods in my tank too, which are much larger, so that wouldn't be it either.

Video was taken very close with a macro lens.

I'm assuming these are beneficial? There's no way I'll be able to manually remove thousands this small.

Its 99% just ostracods, they benefit just as much as copepods, they look like fat little seeds walking around.
