Quick question here. I'm worried about evaporation rotting my wooden stand after the years and worried about all my electronics with condensation and salt creep, so my sump currently has lids on it. Am I just being paranoid or is this a legitimate concern?

IMO yes your being paranoid over a legitimate concern.
The wood is treated but not fool proof Esp with the salt.
Same for electronics. So like everything it's a fine balance. Keep an eye on humidity and salt creep. Also make sure you keep up on maintenance and cleaning.
There's really only so much we can do.
