Life after Fluconazole treatment?

So I just finished a Two week treatment of Fluconazole. I’ve seen others mention treatments lasting Four weeks plus but got worried seeing test numbers slowly rise (btw I don’t run a skimmer) so beside mechanical filtration I didn’t have many options but water change. My question is if anyone has an opinion on doing a 25% water change and dosing the new water with Fluconazole to continue the treatment while continuing to withhold carbon/purigen? Thanks in advance.

How high are your numbers? That makes a big difference on how to move forward. I’ve waited up to 4 weeks after a treatment. Just depending on nitrates

I’ve been using API tests which I know aren’t ideal but all I have for now and also why I’m being extra cautious:

Nitrate: below 5.0
Amomonia: below .5
Phosphate: around .20 (what has me worried)

The tank is almost a year old so not sure if rock and sand is still leaching phosphates.
(I did add some reef rubble to back chamber of AIO recently)

As far as the treatment, almost all Bryopsis and GHA is gone so I can wait if that would be safer. I did lose an anemone crab and snail over the treatment but still seems worth it for almost “Miracle” results.

It's probably phosphate that was bound in the algae that is now dying.

Personally..if your not seeing any adverse effect on coral from the phosphate I would monitor and let it ride...albeit api is not a great way to judge the actual number. .2 is high but not crazy..dropping it quickly would.be worse than letting it ride or slowly dropping it.
