That makes sense, I see no harm in this gradual transition. So I would go ahead and stay the course and discontinue use of Probiotics, then use skimmer and algae to control nutrients. You could still dose ABEV. You may also want to dose iron to help nudge the growth of chaeto. Cheers

Thanks. I will try to focus on inputting more to feed fish and corals. Part of the issue is just low stock right now, being only two fish. But..with time that will increase. One fish is in QT now.
I am and will continue to use Components 1-3 to maintain levels and planning on full ABEV as well. The only difference from full AF is to use fuge rather than biological control. But, I think I might keep at least some Siporax or something in there just for additional media. Unless I continue in this relatively ULNS system, then maybe not. I have never, ever had such a low nutrient tank in my 10+ years of reefing, so this is new to me.

Just need some supplements to land at BRS so I can implement full ABEV!

An AF container was received in US this past Thursday or Friday, so it should be in route soon to retailers. I know Aquatic Sealife has stock, you can also check Saltwater Aquarium.com as well. Cheers
