Lifegard lighting- for plants or coral?

I bought this light without much of a thought. For the 18 inch light it was full spectrum. I assumed it would be the same for the 36 inch light. Turns out the 36 inch light is just white and blues. I can either put it on my fresh tank (which I bought it for) or my little salt tank, or return it. If it will work for a planted tank that would be great but idk. Just looking for info on them and suggestions.
