If you’re buying a used Hydra26 HD at what age would you start to be hesitant about the purchase? I have a couple local for a good price, but they’re 3 years old.

It would depend on the condition and price for me.
Although I’d say 4-5 years I would probably pass up on it.
The only issue I have with buying used Hydras is controllability. You need a special controller that they no longer make for the older gen lights.

$300 for the pair, no mounts. They are the HD model, which I thought was the WiFi controlled model?

Doesn’t sound like a bad deal. I do believe the HD’s are controllable with your phone. I remember their main selling point was that you could pull power from diodes that you aren’t using to other channels.
