Hello, I am new to reefing and need help with lighting. I am starting up a 20gallon long nano reef. I will be keeping mainly softies and lps. What lights are recommended that aren’t too expensive???

'too expensive' is relative in this hobby! Like just about every new reefer on here, soon you will be thinking about an upgrade. Either better lighting, better flow, better filtration or bigger tank. My advice would be to get the absolute best you can afford and keep in mind that you might need to transfer it to the new tank someday! A single Kessil, AI Prime, or Radion XR15 will serve you well and serve you in the future. None of those are the cheapest and there are comparable cheaper options, but in my opinion, you get what you pay for.Hello, I am new to reefing and need help with lighting. “Too expensive” for me is nothing over $500. I’m comfortable with either AI prime or Kessil a80. Since I’m only doing soft and some lps I’m going with 2 a80s. Unless I could use only 1 ai prime????'too expensive' is relative in this hobby! Like just about every new reefer on here, soon you will be thinking about an upgrade. For “too expensive” I specifically mean nothing over $500. Sorry for not being specific in the first placeHello, I am new to reefing and need help with lighting. I have an AI Prime on the 24g cube and it does the job, but the height above the waterline is something to consider. I have the flexible gooseneck arm as high as it will go and it still doesn't get the right amount of spread. Going with 2 AIs or Kessils would definitely be a better option.“Too expensive” for me is nothing over $500. I’m comfortable with either AI prime or Kessil a80.
