So I have a Current Orbit LED light is running at 18w and has these PAR’s: At 1 inch the par level is 400+, at 6 inches the par level is 120-150, at 12 inches the par level is 50-70, at 18 inches the par level is 20 -40.

My question is in such a shallow tank, should I only be running like 50/60 percent on the two light channels for LPS and softies? Should I have a full 12 or day, or cut that back to 6/8 hours, how long should I run them at their max intensity (if that is only 50-60%, or should I take it up to 100% for part of the day?).

Just a little in the dark . Thanks!

I had this light on a standard 10 gallon with softies and lps and ran both channels at 100% for 8 hours. I can't remember how long I had them ramp up and down.

Thanks so much! This is perfect info to get me on the right track.
