I read that sometimes you acclimate coral placement and slowly move it up more and more. But why is this?

I also noticed most LFS run very low intensity lights when they sell the frags in the frag tanks. Is there a reason for this? And is that why when you bring home the frag you should light acclimate?

Corals don't have big increases in light very well so it's a good idea to do so if this scenario applies to you.
