Hey guys,

Curious to see what people do for light acclimation specifically with SPS and clams. I'm talking like, how long your process is, do you use layers of lining and gradually reduce the layers untill its uncovered, or do you just kinda through them in and cross your fingers?

I just recently transferred to a very shallow tank, and what i believe is due to a rushed light acclimating process, two if my favourite colonies have lost majority of their colour.

So if anyone wants to share their process im sure it would be very helpful to many other reefers.

Thanks
G

Put them real high up. Than let us know how it works.
We will use your information for future reference.

Use 3 layers of window screen and remove one every 5-7 days. You can also raise the light fixture and bring it down slowly.
