I’m running a Chinese blackbox over my 36g at 12-13 inches above waterline. I run my blues at 100% and whites around 15-20% was wounding if I turned the whites down to almost off would this cause corals to act up.

Just did a Black box par check on a club members tank. We end up with whites at 25 and blue channel at 35.
this gave a 120 at bottom and 250 at the top of his rocks. I would never leave a light channel at 100.

Well my corals have done awesome with them at 100 for months now

I’m just wanting a little dimmer look just don’t want to drop my whites and make my corals mad.

can I adjust the whites down to like 5 without problem

dang those corals are boomin. I think white doesn’t have much affect on corals it just makes it more appealing to the naked eye having white in with the blue.
