I made a adjustment so I can have the lights on later in the day does this work?

If your tank was fine and you just moved the on and off times, then sure. A lot of folks scheduled their lights so they are able to watch their tanks later in the day.

Old vs New look barely any different to me -- I guess you shifted about 30 minutes later with some very minor percentage adjustments???
*if that's the case then I doubt your corals will even notice
