Where are your phosphates and nitrates at?
And what brand of test kits are you using?

I like Salifert for testing nitrates and the Hanna phos or ULR checkers to test phosphates.

Do you use RI/DO water?

I use redsea testkits and salifert for phosfates this time. The salifert kit exp 2015 tho. However my no3 is about 10 and phosfates at about 0.02. I use ro/di water but when i filled the tank upp for the first time i used about 70%tap water. I have been running the lights att 100% and had it on for about 14 hours a day though (100% only for 4h )

I like your lights! :)

It's pretty uncommon to have a dino bloom like this with available nutrients unless you are dosing nutrients?

Can you tell us more about what you are running for filtration?
What is your temperature and salinity?

Having dino isn't because of lighting but more likely due to limited availability of nutrients. It's not to say nutrients kill dino but nutrients help build bacteria, micro fauna and other microbial communities to help out compete and eradicate dinos.

The first post to this thread will have a great deal of information to help you succeed at getting rid of dinos. Also, don't take the idea of ID'ing your dinos with a grain of salt. Some strains are more difficult and require altered methods to help eradicate.

I really don't know but your reef does look better.

I have TM balled and AF balled without any issues.

You can get a bloom from dosing trace elements too often.

Hmm i only added magnesium and calsium. Well it looks even better already :) + i just got home from a girl who gave me like a ton of stone corals for free so i hope my reef will be even better looking shortly [emoji4] (half is still in buckets waiting for the coral glue to harden)
