I know these questions get asked a lot but I'm going to ask anyways because I'm sure somebody knows more than I do.
I have a 34 gallon Solana that is heavy with SPSS up top and chalice on the sand. I wasb forced out of my 120 because of a leak. I sent my big colonies to stay with buddies. I took frags to put in this tank to mostly play and keep my hands wet until I set up a new system this spring or summer when I do a home remodel. There are way to many frags in there now and as they grow I will be moving some out. They are growing fast as of now.
The light I'm using is a current outer orbit. 1-150 Watt mh which is a 14k Phoenix. Then there are 4 t5s. I have ATI bulbs for those. I have a purple plus an actinic two blue plus and an aqua blue special. The mh is in the center of the fixture with two t5s in front and in back.
Any thought on which four of the five t5s to use and what order they should sit? I'm trying to maximize color.
I had stock bulbs in it and the colors were awesome. I changed the bulbs then went on vacation for a week and didn't set the timer back so things bleached and that was a bummer. Its hard to get colors back sometimes. I know its my own fault. I didn't think there would be that much difference to bleach so bad.
Any thoughts on bulb order for a good color spectrum? Almost tempted to put the older bulbs back but I know the damage is done. Old bulbs were 14k Phoenix and current actinics.
I will try to include a couple quick phone pics. I use the flash because if not the phone pics look very blue. I know its packed things are coming out as they grow. And as a get other pieces I am looking for. Still on the hunt for a red planet which I want to make the center piece.
