light bulbs

i going to be buying new bulbs for my fixture its a t5 mh combo 8 t5s and 3 mh im not sure what bulbs i need or want like what color or k or whatever looking for bulbs that are going to give me good color and good growth can you all please help me pick the right bulbs i need for my tank or give me some ideas thanks in advance

I use the Phoenix 14K MH bulbs. It is a very nice glow. In another tank that uses the T-5's, I use the ATI bulbs; 1 purple, 2 blue, and 1 white.

I just added one to my 6 bulb fixture and really like it. Looks purple to the naked eye but has a lot of blue and red in it.

Honestly if you are going to suppliment with t5s then no question for your mH bulbs Ushi 10 K all the way. Nothing colors coral as deep as 10 k bulbs after they acclimate to them and you can suppliment with bluer lamps in your t5's to compenasate for the yellow tinge.

not to sure yet but i might go with for the 150s 10k and the t5s 2 white 2 purple and 4 blue how does that sound

or what about the whitest mh the got and t5s all blue i like the choice in my tank to have that all blue look like you can do with the led fixtures switch on the blues or whites or both
