My fish tank is in my desk office / bedroom, and the LED lights from the controllers are very bright at night. I swear you could grow acropora under the blue light from my ATO controller...

Was looking at these from amazon? Anyone ever use anything similar or have another creative idea how to block the light while still be able to check the display?

The controllers in the picture are what I'm looking to dim. None of them have an option I could find to reduce the intensity.

I have used those lightdims for some chargers and other devices that are near my bed. They worked well to dim the lights so I could sleep. If you go to the lightdims web site you can get them cut to a custom size or just get a large sheet of the material that you can cut on your own to make a custom size.

If it’s just a power light and you don’t care about seeing it then you can also use black tape to completely black it out, which might be faster and cheaper, but if you still want to be able to read the display or see the status of the lights then the lightdims are a good option.

Good tip about going to thier website. Electrical tape is normally my go to to black out lights, but I want to be able to read the displays.
