I recently acquired an ATI 48" 6 bulb fixture and would like to have some kind of hanger that attaches to the stand for better security. At the moment the light is hanging off of the ceiling at my apartment and I am sketchy about the ceiling being able to hold the weight long term. I have looked into 80/20 but have not been able to see any examples with a t5 fixture.

I actually just hung an ATI on 8020 mounts about half an hour ago. I used them on my first tank with a Giesemann fixture too. I already had them on the tank and got the ATI afterwards so they don't line up properly with the hanging wire but it works. I've not done anything with the wiring yet to make it pretty. :-)

I've been looking for a way to hang a couple of 16" black box leds. Where do these 8020s come from

The lights are centered over the tank. The top brackets are 15 1/4". I drilled 4 holes in the stand...two for each one. You can buy T bolts that fit in the slots of the bracket and bolt them on.
