Light fixture ideas

A while ago I bought my fish tank and most of the equipment for it, but the guy who sold it to me recommended some equipment that had to be replace due to being underpowered. Anyways I have a AI Hydra 32 hd and when I was mounting to my tank I realized that the arm could not be centered because the return pump pipe was blocking it. My right side of the tank gets a lot less light. Is there anything you can suggest that I could to to fix this besides mounting the light from my ceiling?

Yes, build a light bar using 1” pvc

If the plumbing is standard, I would redo the plumbing by adding a couple of 90 degree elbows so you can lower the Tee so you have the room to center the light mount.

I made my light hanger from conduit pipe and a pipe bender.
Think I used 1/2" idk id have to look when I get home.
Than I just clamped it to the stand. U could mount it to the wall studs too I guess and paint it to match the wall.im just lazy lol.

do you think i could somehow shorten the screw by a little bit because that is what blocks the light from fitting?

Idk id need pics. Guessing its just a plastic thumb screw to tighten down just under the rim of the tank?

Note the pipe bender was a $40 tool I used with my foot. Not like an exhaust pipe bender for cars lol.

Yea sorry for my long reply. The knob on the screw is a little bit to big. The only thing is if I saw it off I am not sure how I would tighten/ loosen the light clamp.
