ive got a bunch of live rock i need to store and get purpled up, was gonna use an old 55g i have sitting around and use a heater, impeller, and dose with "purple up" but was wondering if i needed to supply some light for the coraline to grow properly? i assume i would but wasnt 100% sure and if i can just run actinic t5s on it?

Coraline needs total darkness, lots of love and pure enthusiasm to thrive. Hope this helps.

But really, i grow nice plating and encrusting coraline in my sump with 9w PC bulb, maybe 6000k-9000k.
