I use a nicrew 30 watt with controller. But if i went red sea it would be the 50.

I've replaced the lighting on one of my Evos with an AI Prime...but the stock lighting that comes with the system is just fine for LPS, too. I winced a bit at the thought of spending $500 on lighting (for the Red Sea 90) on a $200 AIO.

I wanted to use the stock light and lid but had a heat issue. That lid captures a lot of heat.

Noopysche k7 mini would be my choice. Got mine for $76 shipped. 60watts of power, great shimmer, wifi controlled app. What more can one ask?

It's a feature, not a bug! I run my Evos (and my RSM250s) without heaters, which is a nice bonus in these times of mad utility costs.

I've used a Kessil A80 and AI Prime 16HD, and both did well. I agree with davidcalgary regarding a $500 light for a tiny tank to grow LPS. I'd give the Nicrew 30W and 50W a look. I have the 150W over my tank, and it's working great.

I now use the Evo as a QT tank. I do encounter heat issues with the stock lid, so that's something to keep in mind.

I'm about to get rid of this tank. Going to IM 15 desktop. I hate the peninsula look on such a small tank
