What's a good size and type of light for a 90 gallon bow front? Fish and corals.

Soft corals. No hard. Some lobos, hammers, anemones, Duncan, candy canes, frog spawn, mushrooms, pipe organ.

cheapest I think would be 48" current USA, not the basic model. most lights would grow soft coral, just depends on your budget. 3 AI primes would be a nice choice too, great room for growth in future if you decide to venture into more LPS and SPS!

Any of these can get this done:

6 bulb 48" T5
Pair of SBReefLight or 48" ReefBreeders Photon... with or without 2x T5s
2x 150w HQI Metal Halides... with or without 2x T5s or ReefBrite strips

I just got 2 used Radion XR15 pro gen 3 for my 100 gallon 4 foot wide tank. I used to only have all softies, but I'm slowly getting SPS (only 3 small ones) and I'm glad I prepared ahead of time with better lights.

It's true that pretty much all lights (including the cheap ones) work for softies mostly, but you get more "pop" and room to grow with the higher end lights. Of course, they are expensive, but used/previous generation lights would work fine in my opinion.
