Hey all, i may have asked this already but im looking for some siggested powers in the different color spectrums on the hydra 26hd. Its about 10" above a biocube 32. And ill post a pic of the tank for reference of corals.

Bulk reef has a video that gives the settings that are close to the radion ab+ settings.

You can adjust the amount of time. I currently have 4 hydras in the ai hybrid with 4x blue + over my RSR 650 peninsula at 11” from the surface. I run them from 0800 to 9 pm with 2 hr ramp up and down.

Beautiful tank! So my question would be would the power output be different on my tank due to it only being 2ft deep? And my next question is, a lot of places im seeing that people have their UV up pretty high but my lfs told me that UV is what kills coral so to keep it at like 3-4
My current setting is
UV 4
V 70
B 100
RB 100
G 2
R 2
W 10
800-6
3hr ramp

That doesn’t sound correct. I believe the UV is need for the correct spectrum for the corals to grow. These are my settings

And the depth of the tank wont matter if i try these numbers? Should i gradually increase lights or just go for it?

As with everything in reefing I would go slow and take your time. I went slow adjusting mine coming from 250watt metal halides with T5s to what you saw in the picture now.

And 2-26 HD’s on my 29 gallon bio cube frag tank

The UV isn’t even real uv. There is way more real uv in metal halides, t5s and even power compacts. I’m my experience it’s high white settings that fry corals. A single 26 hd doesn’t put out much par, especially at the ab+ settings. I think a single 26 HD on my biocube at the brs ab+ setting only delivered 150 par 8” below the waters surface. I wouldn’t worry about frying your corals in your set up. I would max out the UV, V, RB, and B set the R and G to 10 and adjust the white to whatever your eyes like but I wouldn’t go over 30.
