Hello,
I am looking for a way to mount my led's or even T5s to my tank, the problem is I need something to fit on the rim of the tank for my mount to sit. I was even looking into extruded aluminum but I have no way of getting it to ride or sit along the top of the glass rim. Any ideas? What did you use?
Thanks, Larry

I used thin 90 degree aluminum angles from home depot and epoxied that to my aluminum stack to my bars across.

I just don't have a good way to mount a canopy, plus I have seen the mounts the go directly on the rim of the aquarium I just can't find them.

A light canopy can be hung from ceiling or wall useing a Radion hanging kit an will be adjustable used one on mine 4 ft canopy got it from BRS

I know but I have a vaulted ceiling and it is a long way between ceiling and tank top. My significant other is not good with all that cable.

I made a pvc mount that sits on the rim of the tank for my old 20g long build I'll post pics.
