Light on after new fish introduction

How soon after introduction of a new fish can I turn on the light? I bought it midday from a local fish shop through a car with bright windows and drip acclimated with my room lights on. Should I still leave my lights off for 4 hours?

Start with Blue and tomorrow morning resume full intended schedule or 50% of white and following day, desired white

My lights are currently in "ramp down" mode I were to turn them on. So should If just turn them on in this case?
