Ok I have 4 tangs in my qt, confirmed its velvet and I'm now on day 3 of copper power treatment and its clearing up on the purple tang. I plan on 30 days in copper. Question is should I keep the light on a normal schedule or do no light at all? Seems like they wouldn't wake up and feed unless I have some sort of light on. The qt is in my garage so its 99% dark all the time in there. Thx for the help!

Doesn't really matter for fish. Less light will help with stress IMO. When I run quarantine I just use the ambient lighting in the room, there is no fixture over the tank or anything :)

i do the same i just the room lighting i keep my QT in the garage

Velvet is partially photosynthetic. Avoid direct lighting. Ambient room lighting is fine.
