Light Position

I'm starting to hang my LED lights now. Do you keep your lights center over the tank? Little back of the tank? Im going to mount them 10" and I can lower if needed but I don't know how far out I need the lights. Cant seem to find info.

Depends on where your rock work and coral are. My rocks are up against my back glass so I have my light sit backwards a little bit. Others put their rock work in the direct center so they try to directly center their light.

depends on the lights, what you are trying to grow and where you want to grow it.

I finished ! I have it mostly center slight back. I can also tailor the lights to the back so it hits the rocks more. I have it 8” off the glass top, I might drop it a little. Turned out great !
