Hello All,

I have a 90 gal Seaclear System 2 FOWLR tank with a 36" Marineland Single Bright LED Lighting System.

My first question, is 1 of these lights enough? Second question is regarding how long to keep the lights on and if I can split the time up. I read for a FOWLR tank I should have the lights on between 8 and 10 hours; having them turn on around 11am and turning off about 9pm. Is 10 hours too long or too short? My last question is can I split up the light times, say first time from 5:30am to 8:30am and then again from 1:30pm to about 8:30pm. This will fix the issue of my 4 year old asking to turn on the lights every morning when she first wakes up as well as have the lights on for a morning feeding.

Thoughts?

That light is plenty for a FOWLR.
Yes, you can split the times up. 10 hours is fine.
