Hello I have a Nano cube with 2 compact florescent bulbs. It will come on cold, but after being on for 5-10 minutes will shut off. You have to turn everything off and wait for an hour or so to turn them back on. Is there anyone on the group able to check these out and see what is needed to fix them??

Sounds like a bad ballast (or at least a bad overload in the ballast, which amounts to the same thing). A new fluorescent ballast of any kind that will fit and is rated for the combined wattage of your two bulbs will work. Electronic would be better. One listed as being for two bulbs would be better. Should be able to find something at Home Depot if you know what you are looking for. What is the length and wattage on those bulbs?

+1 sounds like a bad ballast. You could check the volts/amps goingto the light to be sure (because it could be a short as well). You could always look at the specifics on the ballast and get a new one on the internet... Or maybe its time for that DIY project you have had in the back of your mind.... (I know you have thought about it!)

Hope this helps!

I found two bad connections. Repaired them and it still goes out. The ballast does not get hot, but found the same one at amazon for 14.00. I ordered it. Better than the 70.00 for a JBJ replacement. Thanks every one.
