Hello fellow R2R'ers,

I run a rx30 pro gen 4 radion mounted ~8.5" above the waterline in my 65g mixed reef DT.

I have SPS frags ~6" below the waterline on LR...so about 14.5" below the light itself.

Can someone take a look at my schedule below? It's a slightly modified AB+, and the max intensity at the peak is 58%.

Thoughts on lights on length, max peak length and intensity?

I appreciate any advice and/or help!

my 2 cents...

I'm glad you posted this as I went back to read the schedule and noticed they mention 50% intensity. I'll need to make some adjustments.

I'm not sure if the longer overall period makes up for the shorter peak time or not. In the end you've added two hours of lower intensity par for exchange for three hours less of the peak intensity. Doesn't seem like a wash to me, but different things work for different people.

I like to think Ecotech did it's research and came up with the best schedule that worked for them. I'd say test it out and let us know how it works. What's in the tank?

About 8 sps frags up top, a couple platygyra maze brains in the middle, zoas, hammer, and acans near the bottom and on the bed.
