I'm running 3 ai hydra 26 lights from 7 am to 11 pm. Is this to long? I'm thinking running them from 11 to 8 pm. Since I'm not around until. 2 in the afternoon.

One of my tanks also have 3 hydra 26hd
Blues kick in at 10 a and remainder at 11a and back to blue by 8pm and off at 10:30.
7a-11p is acceptable as long as you are not running an all day white period.

I have my light schedule coincide with sunrise and sunset, with a natural ramp up and wind down. I figure it's good for all of our circadian rhythms (since it keeps me from staring into blues too close to bedtime).

Agree with @blaxsun & @vetteguy53081 — I definitely wouldn't go over 12 hours, and if you want a 12-hour schedule, make sure you aren't running whites that whole time.

. Is this to long?
Yes way too much. corals can only absorb 5 to 6 hours peak lighting and anything after that is a waste. I run my Blue light 8 hours and my whites 6 giving an hour ramp up slash ramp down and growth has never been better less MH and VHO but that waste to much AC. You can run more it wont hurt, less your pocketbook. Me I run mine so get maximum viewing pleasure when home without interfering with sleep times
