Hi everyone, I have just bought a new light, viparspectra 165,i currently have it on 60 blue and 1 white. I have a anemone, fish, shrimp and a purple pussey coral and pulsing xena. What should I have the settings on in your opinion? Thanks in advance

I would say medium to low settings due to the fact the corals you have don’t need a lot of lighting

i dont use black box, but if you post in the lighting forum and title it viparspectra light settings, you will have the whole black box crew come flocking

OK m8 nice1

I would be afraid of burning my corals with them before hurting them with too little light. Corals slowly die over too little light, too much can kill em quick. I think teen is right use low to medium, then ask people who might know more about the exact light, im sure they will tell you the exact notch on the knob and the level to hang the lights above the water
