I have 1 actinic, 2 power glow, 1 life flow all Hagen. 4x54 watt t5

I just received 2 marine land led lights. Double bright. I have softies mostly with a galaxea being the most demanding coral I think I have

Would you switch to the led if you were me?

Hey like the name. I'm a lundgren/ emg man myself.
About the lights, I would prolly stick with what you have. The marineland led main problem is no timer and only one power cord. How do they screw that one up? The two may be able to do the job, but 1 decent unit could do the job of the two.

I already own them though, maye I'll trade for a Cree dimmable or something.

I'm going to put em up for a couple days and see what they do regardless.

As for pickups. I kill batteries too fast for emgs. I have a bass that I can never play haha. I have Seymour's in my vai and they are saaamooooth!

Well ya can't leave the cable plugged in lol. I'm surprised to hear that, I've gone two years before changing them.
My fav sd is the screamin demon, but I've heard the vai pickups are great.
The lights might be better suited to a fish only tank IMO

When I get done jamming out I'm so pumped up I forget to unplug it. Haha.

I agree, or a planted freshwater maybe. It's got a yellower tint than i expected. Lameness. Maybe one led and 2 t5s would be good? I have extra Ballasts and stuff.

Yeah you could mix it up.... There is a thread about it, but I think the marineland led aren't exactly popular around here.
Here's my latest axe btw

They aren't popular with me either but someone gave them to me so I thought its worth an experiment at the very least.

Bc rich! Very nice. I think I might have one somewhere, let me find it amongst my sheets that hide the Jam room from ghosts, or dust.

You don't want to know where that's been.

Cool guitars man. Mine actually isn't a rich, it's a handmade.
Here's the rich you're thinking it is

Little different.
Hope we don't get in trouble for going so far off topic here.
I just bought a beamswork led. It's just like the marineland as far as looks but the specs are different, and I got an optional timer.
It's 30" 32 watts 2800 lumens 128 10,000k, 32 actinic. I got it with timer for under 100 bux shipped. Prolly not the greatest but beats my old setup for sure. The LEDs on this one are .2 watts each. Different from anything else I've seen. We'll see how it does

I am thinking kessels or te shoebox looking dimmable 120 waters. I really like Cree led. I have a flashlight with a 3 watt bulb and its as bright as my headlights and shines further
