Ok, first off, I am making a single spotlight. I found this bad boy and bought it: New 300LM Lumens 5W Zoom CREE Q3 LED Head waterproof FlashLight TORCH Headlamp | eBay
HOLY COW IS THIS BRIGHT!!! unfortunately it takes 3 AAA batteries.
I got it for $0.99 which is cheaper than the led itself. Thanks china.
Anyways, I was wondering if somebody could help me figure out a way to wire this up.
I want the light to be powered along with a standard computer fan by the same power source.
Assembling and all that won't be an issue, as I am quite the handyman, until it comes to wiring...just don't want to blow myself up. The batteries are rechargeable, So i Have gotten a feel for how it will look.
If possible I would like to be able to simple attach the power to the battery wires..but then I have to figure the voltage for the fan. so yea, any help will be greatly appreciated. THANKS ALOT!!!
Btw, if you can order a but ton of these spotlights, that could save a ton on LEDS. They are 5 watts...When I point them at the jellyfish it pulses 2x as fast. I don't have a light meter or anything, but I do feel it appreciates that extra beam.
