Back to the drawing board and still debating whether the 3 black boxes are enough or if I should find a 6’ t5ho fixture

I’m going to refer to my old light as a diy 48” fixture .
I believe it was a commercial fixture prior to being used over my 90 gallon for years .

if I could find what’s needed to build or purchase another fixture for 8 bulbs or more . Attached are a few pictures for a idea of the 48” fixture I’m currently using until I can decide

two 30" or 32" black boxes, or three 16" black boxes will grow almost anything you want.

How deep is your tank?

My only warning is using Mars Aqua black boxes over a 30" deep tank. They are the only BB that I know of who only push the 3 watt leds to 1.8 watts. All the others push them to 2.2 watts.

It’s 27” deep .
I’m going to stay with T5’s .
