Lighting a 2.5 G Pico Tank?

Hi all! I was told that a 3 W LED would be sufficient in keeping low light corals alive in my new 2.5 G Pico tank but it seemed awfully low so I am currently running a 6W LED on it instead. Would this suffice for growing low light corals like mushrooms or Kenya tree? Thanks.
