Hello
Have the refugium lit with a PC 10000K 26W from the old sump. I have the refugium set up with a 2" sand bed with about 2 lb of live rock and a ball of chaeto growing a bit. The plan is a variety of life forms pods, crab, worms etc & of course the benefits of the chaeto. I looked around a bit and the LED spectrum recommended for the refugium are red red! Not great for viewing with those options, and is it detrimental to the life forms? Can anyone recommend something that would grow the micro algae that is more white? The PC bulbs I have are hard to find plus I have no mounting options, right now it stands on it's end lighting from the side.
Thank you!

Or am I the only nut with his face in the sump?

Fresh water planted tanklights.

Or look for 56k Lights.
