Lighting advice needed

ATI 8x54 w T5 with xho reebrite mounted on the front,always wanted to run a second reefbrite on the back so I bought a regular reefbrite from another reefer.presently my fixture is 7 in above the water and I have a lot of high end sps.doing really well undercurrent conditions .however I have a sea swirl on the back of my tank which would require that I raise my fixture about 3 inches to fit the back reefbrite.is it worth raising the fixture for the extra blue led?
