hey guys i know this is a very common thread that comes with many different factors but i just found a kessil AP700 for only $480 with the stand.. i know this is a crazy find but another part of me is thinking if this beauty of a light is truly necessary for a 30 gallon tank. i’m wondering if my budget would be that big if i can get better lights best suited for my tank? my biggest thing is being able to control them through my phone. any advice? should i go for the ap700?

The ocean is open to all, merciful to none.
It's a lot of light for a 30 gal... Better and best suited... you will get all sorts of opinions. One advantage of the 700 is you won't need to upgrade your light when you get a bigger tank.
