We have an aquaoak 465L plus sump. Currently finishing the interior rock landscape and yacht varnishing the hood and sump cupboard. Then we’ll start on the fill. Realistically few months off live stock.
We want a reef and fish tank. We’re struggling with what lights can fit under the hood. Any help?? The ve attached pictures of the landscape so far. I’ve kept it with good flow and swims.

Is this just going to be a fish tank or are you planning on keeping corals? If corals what kind? What are the dimensions of the tank and how much space do you have in the hood?

As above. Reef and fish tank. So yes corals. Soft corals and reef safe fish.
Volume: 465L + Sump
Overall Dimensions:
150cm x 60cm x 148cm
Aquarium Dimensions:
139.5cm x 55cm x 61cm
Sump Dimensions:
81.3cm x 38.1cm x 38.1cm

There are not alot of super slim reef lights that are extremely high output but luckily if all you want is soft corals then you really don't need anything super bright. I would do 2 of the 48in Aquaticlife/HME Edgelights, you could also do 2 Fluval Marine and Reef 3.0s or some Reefbright XHO strips.

I would go with the Aquaticlife/ HME edge since they are higher output than the Fluval, and better valued than the Reefbrights.

We’d been wrongfully advised to buy the evergrow. That’s going back for a second time ‍♀️ Then we see Maidenhead aquatics selling our tank as a bundle with an iluminair 1200 yet won’t confirm if this is correct or not for the tank.
