We have a 32G bio cube and have the following corals: bubble tip anemone, zoas, green star polyps, ricordea, digitada, blast mussa, clove polyps and green tip hammer. I think some might need to be moved for flow or lighting purposes. Would love to hear suggestions on placement and lighting. We use the stock lighting in the tank and have it set mostly blues with maybe an hour a day of white. We also added an ecotech wave maker but think we need to determine good placement. Our bubble tip is hiding and staying more closed up and the sun polyps and green star are now staying more closed up. Pretty new to this so want some happy corals and need suggestions! Thanks!

How long has your tank been running for? How long have you had the livestock, etc? Where are the placement if your power heads currently?

doing this long enough, I've learned one thing if you have any suncup Corals in the tank, I use them as the canary in the mine, if they're not opening up or not opening up often enough, There's issues. I'd start with flow, then your filtration system. And check your water parameters thoroughly.

Tank has been up roughly 5 months. The power head is at the top. We do water changes every other week and test weekly. Parameters have all been in line. We also have an ecotech wave maker on opposite side of power head

The tank is still young and typically two power-heads inverse of each other is ideal for water flow patterns for corals, one pointed towards the rock work the other more focused on the surface agitation. What light fixture are you currently using?

Possible the flow pattern. Or not enough. Just a guess

currently using the lights that come with bio cube. They are LED and we run mostly blue with a short time of white. We do not ever go completely dark and I am wondering if we should? Also wondering if we need to move some corals where they get more flow or more light? Any suggestions on placement in tank on rock structure for the corals?

So you keep the lights on 24/7? Placement, flow, and lighting are key in addition to consistent element levels. Have you been testing?

Check out this placements guide. Also read through the threads here on R2R. There is a lot of beneficial info.
